Dearest Readers Whoever You Are (If you even exist),
So I have decided to start a blog about I guess... My life? My travels, radio career, and other fun stuff that's going on. In the career that I wanna be in (radio host) online blogging and online design is a pretty big part of the job, so I thought that I'd get a kick start. ;) And it's kind of my first blog, so I hope that you enjoy it as much as I am!! I guess that I'll just start off with my first post about where I am now: In Rochester, NY. It's my first time here, and you may why I am here? Well here's the story...

So a few months ago my parents found this great deal online for a little hotel in Rochester, NY that they wanted to visit. A few days ago, Chris & I decided to go with them! Funny thing is that the hotel is not what we expected because... Well, it doesn't have a bathtub in the shower, OR a pool. Yeah, I know right? Especially for someone living in a house with a BROKEN bathtub, it kind of stinks... The hotel room is pretty interesting though, it's a nice big space with a mini kitchenette (I say mini because it doesn't actually have a stove or sink, it just has a microwave and a fridge... Which is still totally awesome!), HUGE bed, flat screen TV, nice little couch area, AND AND AND an awesome little make-up area with a little round mirror that literally pulls out from the wall to this tiny triangle counter space with a stool just for doing make-up! So, I don't wear make-up everyday, but I am definitely going to tomorrow just because of that epic mirror space! =D Point being, the hotel is nice. But that's not really the point of this blog, now is it? I guess that one of the great parts about being on a long trip is the car time! Chris & I had a pretty awesome time in the car together on our way here to Rochester... Here's a clip of some of the silliness when I wasn't behind the wheel (OH YES I AM TAKING OVER THE ROADS WATCH OUT!!!!)...

After we got here we went to a nice little restaurant called "The Avenue Diner" where we had one of the nicest waitresses that I've ever been served by! And I ate a very New York-ish meal called "Plate of Garbage." It tasted like it too... Although it was really good, it had a TON OF GREASE!!!

The food in the picture that you are currently observing is a very urban and citylike mixture of 2 "hots," more commonly known as hot dogs to those who are not fluent in the very cool and interesting New-Yorkese, french fries, baked beans, and hot sauce with meat in it.
Don't get me wrong, it was very good! It was just A LOT... But hey, sometimes you gotta take the risk of a really bad stomach ache for a really good meal. I'm in New York on vacation! I've gotta live up the experience!

So I finished off my meal with a piece of tradition New York cheesecake... How could I not? It's like going to Philadelphia and refusing to eat a Philly Cheese Steak!! WRONG!!!

It was "totes delish" (as I like to say in my 21st century teenagese!)... But anyway, I had a great time with my family as we visited this little diner in memory of how my Mom's Dad and Mom met at a "Bob's Big Boy" (which is no longer in NY, WHAT? HOW COULD THEY RUIN MEMORIES LIKE THAT??). So we overall had a great day, and I'm looking forward to going to sleep, and waking up to the smell of a New York hotel, and another wonderful day in beautiful Rochester.
